The high purity of dinosolit special tablet salt is based on the special geological conditions of the natural deposit of the salt. The low share of the hardness components calcium and magnesium result in a higher operational efficiency of the system, along with an increased life expectancy. Moreover, dinosolit special tablet salt has a low sulphate content, which prevents a "plastering" of the electrolysis system. Due to the low content of iron and manganese, there is almost no influence on the system performance due to deposits and precipitation of poorly dissolving compounds of these heavy metals, which eventually lead to a reduced system performance and life cycle of the electrodes as well as of the membranes in case of divided-cell electrolysers. Finally, the bromide content in dinosolit special tablet salt is very low. This is particularly important from a toxicological point of view, because it ensures that bromoform, which is many times more toxic compared to THMs containing chlorine, is only formed in safe amounts.
